TYDEMAN'S EARLY WORCESTER (several old trees). 1943, Britain's East Malling Research Station. McIntosh crossed with Worcester Permain. Primarily a cooking apple, also fresh or frozen. Becomes deep red with white flesh. Ripens mid-August continuing several weeks. |
