Energy from the Sun

Hidden Hollow has just added a new solar array which provides both the orchard and LG&E with electricity from the Sun.

The array was installed by Solar Energy Solutions, LLC, who also installed 24 SunPower T10 modules on a roof of the visitor's center to the Capitol in Frankfort, Kentucky. Each panel can generated up to 305 Watts of power. The Capitol array is expected to produce 8,000 kWh of energy each year
